Hello all, I'm new here.
I have a 2004 Land Cruiser with factory towing package. I bought an enclosed car trailer with electric brakes. The cruiser has the 7 pin connector already installed and I want to install a Drawtite Activator III model # 5510 brake controller. Can someone advise me on how to wire this in or is a brake controller even needed for 2004 cruiser. The wiring diagram I got from Toyota shows it has it's own towing brake controller installed,do I need an add on
(extra) controller and how should it be wired into the factory harness.
