Does anybody know if these Chinese headlights from Ebay are similar to the OEM? Fit For Lexus LX470 UZL100 Headlights Head lamp Glass lens Set LH + RH 1998-2007 | eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/324241204520?fits=Model%3ALX470&hash=item4b7e482528:g:1QEAAOSwpJhfHWgd I have bb holes in a couple of my glass covers, and am wondering if I could scavenge the glass from the Chinese units. Will likely do some sort of HID retrofit when I swap the glass if this will work. Alternatively, are there any aftermarket units worth buying that actually increase light output, are durable, and don't look all blinged out?

Sorry, cannot comment about chinese lights. I bought depo for my 4runner and it is good but later bought OEM.
I bought OEM headlights for the LC 100 series and both shipped $470. Did you check OEM price?

Also, it is coming from China, and the glass can get damaged during shipping. How do you going to handle that if that happens with a seller overseas? I personally prefer, to get OEM may be another 200 more but know it is OEM and last another 25 years.

I also install 65 W low beams (HB4) by cutting the plastic tab between two metal prongs on the bulb so the OEM wire plug can take it. The night driving is fantastic! I see the road very well now.

Looks like I'm looking at about $750 shipped for the LX OEM - ouch. Probably good advice on the Chinese ones though. I'll see how these cracked ones do with some clear film over the holes once it gets cold and wet.

Try your luck with car-part.com. You might find sets at a more reasonable price there, and won't have to worry about broken tabs, etc. if all you need is the glass.
