eBay Auction to Raise Funds to Fight Clear Creek Closure
Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,
As some of you know, on April 30, 2008, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced the immediate closure of the Clear Creek Management Area ("CCMA"). Located on the Central Coast of California, in San Benito County, this highly popular 75,000-acre Management Area is one of the most popular OHV and multiple-use recreation sites in the West.
BRC wants to alert our membership to a current eBay auction to help fund our legal efforts to reopen OHV use at the BLM's Clear Creek Management Area.
Because of the generosity of Moore and Sons, a KTM dealership, we are able to offer a brand new 2007 SX 85 as an auction item. All proceeds will go directly to fund our legal efforts at Clear Creek. If the winner does not live in the SF Bay Area, the bike will be shipped to a local KTM dealership for set-up at no charge. There is a 30-day factory warranty for the motorcycle.
