I just purchased an 04 gx470. I am trying to remove the dvd player from the center console. I have removed the rear of the console and unplugged the harnesses. I then took the entire fron tof the console apart. The entire console is loose and is ready to lift off except something is holding it down right around the dvd player. I'm sure I must have a couple more screws to take off but I cant find any. Has anyone removed the dvd player and can help me out with what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think I followed this link when I pulled mine 3 years ago, and replaced it with a non rear entertainment center console from a wreck for just a little more room. I think you may be missing the screws under the rear air controls…you’ll need to pop up the trim with a plastic trim tool to access them.
