Any of y'all members? I used to be and dropped due to busy schedule. Looking to rejoin. not familiar with DCWC?

Durham County Wildlife Club

cliffs... its a shooting club in RTP. Im interested for skeet and sporting clays.

@mtweller

I've shot there once. It's not a sporting clays course like Deep River or Drake Landing, but high house/low house skeet+trap. Still, fun place and super central!

Im actually joining again because of their 5 stand. its a ton of fun, and you can do a round in 15 minutes. its a club within a club. PS- the won't let non members even shoot there.

We dropped membership because I felt like I was surrounded by crotchety old men most of the time. There were some really nice folks. And honestly, we just didn't utilize if far often enough to justify me having to go out there to volunteer once a quarter. Doesn't sound like much, but it seemed to always fall on a weekend we had out of town plans and made it a PITA. Range officer hung over isn't a lot of fun.

He was saying the 5-Stand "Sporting Clays" can't be accessed by guests, and that's accurate. Everything else is open to guests of a member (escorted), and the skeet is open to the public for 4hrs on Saturdays and Sundays Sring - Fall.

went to deep river and shot. Ended up hitting 39 out of 50. Now I want to go back!
