Drum Brake shoes

Anybody got a spare set of brake shoes/ liners for a front drum axle on a 73 FJ40? Looking for a temp. replacement until I can do the front disk conversion.

Scott I have a 73 axle with the drums still in tack. I have not looked at the condition yet, If you want to take a look you can have whatever you need.

FUBAR? I need to know more bout your 3F conversion.. Can you just start a thread explaining it from the beginning please? IN our section please? I am seriously thinking bout doing that to my 45 shorty..

I have left overs from my four wheel disc conversion on my 71. I even have a great set of drums that I used for six months, now just collecting dust.

Fubar/ Mike,

Thanks for the offers. I think all I need are the brake shoes/ liners. The Liners have separated from the shoes on the front drums. I am hoping to do the front disk conversion soon. It will probably be a week or so before I can swing by unless either of you are going to be a Chris's this weekend. I will try and set something up.

I am not sure that I can make it down on Sat. But am plannig on stopping down on sunday. I will bring some shoes with me either way.
