I have a dual axle trailer with drop axles. All of a sudden my foot is dragging the ground and it looks like I am tongue heavy. My first thought is that my front axle suspension failed somehow. The trailer is heavy and I would have quite a hard time lifting the whole trailer off the ground to see what happens when it is completely free. Anyone know of another way to diagnose the problem if all I have around is a floor jack? I can't physically see anything wrong. And even thought the trailer is heavy, I am not hauling a whole lot of weight. If I temporarily readjust my hitch height, am I putting myself in any dangerous situation? Basically relying only on the rear axle suspension. The trailer still drives just fine even on the highway and over bumpy roads.
