Driving across the southern US E to W

I'll be leaving Central Florida on Aug 17, heading to NW Georgia and then cutting over to Vegas going through Phoenix. I'm not sure of my stops between there yet, but I was thinking San Antonio for one. I'll leave vegas and then head up through California stopping in Chico on my way to Seattle.
