Doug, I am going to try to make the meeting if this snow does not turn rushhour into a complete show. In case I don't make it...

I ordered the rear wheel bearing puller but it is back-ordered until April 6th. If you want to replace your wheel bearings while doing your diff swap for a tech day I highly suggest you wait until this SST comes in. You may be able to get another puller to work but I would not count on it from the horror stories I have read about changing semifloat rear wheel bearings. I leave for Europe a week from today and will not return until March 31.

If you want to skip the wheel bearings you can have your tech day while I am away. Otherwise, I think you should wait till we receive the SST.

Hey, Thanks John.

In your opinion, do you think it is worth it to replace those bearings at this time. I mean, it doesn't appear that it would be that hard to get to them at a later date, if they end up needing attention in the future.

Thanks again for the help. Hope to see you tonight.
Doug

I am still on my original set but I bet they are due for a replacement soon. They will let you know when the time comes by letting the wheel start to wobble and causing a gear oil leak into your brake drum. :D

I am going to brave the traffic, just hope it does not take me two hours to get there.

Good Luck! See you there.....
