I know I may have put this out there on a different thread. Here it goes. When I did my frame and axles(blasted/painted), I was chicken to refinish the steering box and axles(to many places for sand to wreck) also chicken redoing the center arm.

Or can one take them apart and get them powdercoated?

I wouldn't have them blasted. I'd rather do a little work with a wire wheel in a drill and then hit them with a rattle can than run the risk of sand tearing everything up later. It's almost impossible to get all the abrasive out (especially parts that once were oily or greasy, ie. driveshafts and steering boxes.) It's your truck, so of course you should do what you want, but if it were mine, I wouldn't do it.

Best of luck, Luke

is it possible to powdercoat them. I have looked on other build up threads, and most of the aforementioned components look really nice.
