Driver Door Wire Harness

Has anyone replaced it or have information regarding how to replace? My speaker cuts out when opening/closing the door, sometimes the window won't work and the door lock works intermittently. I assume it's just worn out from me opening and closing the door for over 17 years but I have a feeling it's not an easy/cheap fix.

Been dealing with that situation too, just the door lock function.

Pull the door panel and pull the rubber conduit between door and kick panel off. You will find damaged wires. I spliced in a couple extra inches and wrapped them in electrical tape. 3 years and still working.

You can buy a used wire harness on ebay for $150 or less.
It is easy to remove from inside the truck, remove the kick panel, unplug the three plugs, then feed the wires and connectors through the door jamb.
Then remove the door panel, unplug the connectors.
Install is opposite of removal.
There are write ups on removing the door panel, there are lots of hidden screws so be careful.

I was having issues with my window and lock, cut open the conduit, spliced the wires, a new harness is in my future.
