I have a milestone birthday coming up on August 25. I try to do something special on my BD and this year I'm planning on taking a ride in one of these (oops ya missed it!). I raced in Mexico and US deserts back in the 70s and still like the adrenalin charge from roaring across the desert at crazy speeds. Once in a while I have to stomp on the go pedal even now. So I am planning on taking a ride in one of the Pro Trophy Trucks stabled at Gateway Canyons Resort. I asked about a group discount for our club on my last trip through there. They had not thought of it but I suspect it could happen. Current cost for a four lap ride on the 2 mile course is $250. Anyone interested in joining in on this once in a lifetime experience? GO FAST!!!

I just called them to confirm and found they had bumped the price from $250 to an absurd price of $600! Are they serious, for 20' of fun? NOT.

Yeh, at $600 for about 20' that's right up there with one of those antigravity flights. Think ill just go for a fast ride in the FJ instead. Thanks for the Birthday wish.
