Door locks

How do you get the doors to lock with the motor running. The key won't do it and the keyless remote won't do it. Is there a way to by pass this silly design flaw.

The key FOB will not work but another key will. I start mine when its cold in the morning and use another key to lock it up while it is defrosting.

My key does not lock the door when it is running and niether does the fob
