Pretty , considering how large it is, that the dog survived and was rescued.


Looks to have an injured leg but should be okay. I bet it's going to stay the hell away from cars from now on though

That happened to a friend of mine many years ago. His springer spaniel ran out onto the road, and we heard brakes squealing. The driver said he thought he ran over the dog, but we couldn't find the dog anywhere. Not over the embankment, not under the VW Bug, etc. Then we heard the dog whining. She got rolled up under the front end, and was wedged between the inner trunk sheetmetal and the twin torsion bar tubes. Had to yank on her to get her out. Fortunately only bruises.
