Does the compressor for the height control operate while the vehicle is in motion. Or does it only come on when the vehicle is stopped? For example; If I am on the highway for an extended trip and I have the ride height set at N and my airbags are leaking does the compressor constantly kick on and try to inflate the air bags?

The height control system set the control to N automatically anytime you pass the 15mph mark. and yes, the compressor will kick on and try to inflate the airbags to keep the height setting.
