Does anyone have a decent sandblaster?

I recently bought a M416 military trailer, and sanding it before painting is too much effort . If anyone has a good sandblaster, let me know if you are willing to help me out. I want to paint it to match my 40. Thanks!

Clint

I have a brand new one from HF that I have never used. Not sure how good it is but you are welcome to use it.

There is some one around here that dose it i can check on it if you want me to.

I have a pressurized sandblaster you're welcome to use. It likes LOTS of 100 psi air to use from what I saw with sand. Planned to try some black beauty from Tractor Supply next time as I understand it works well at lower pressures (means the air compressor will keep up longer). You might also check Eastwood's website for blast media (or at least find out what works best at what pressures and then buy local). I haven't gotten that far yet.

Of course my sand blaster is a couple hours down I-74 from you too (zip 47017) so local to you options might be better. If I make it up to the event later this month I can bring it for you if still interested then...

HF has one on sale now for 20.00. Says it only needs a 1HP compressor. Comes with hopper and gun.

Clint,
There is a place on the east side of town that will do big stuff. Last time I was in there, he had a 68 mustang in the booth. I can get you the name if you want. It took me 16 hours (work time) to sand blast my cowl on my 40 with HF blaster and at this time of year, humidity is going to give you a lot of grief. And it is really messy. Just something to think about.

Rick.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, but I just ended up using a chemical stripper. It turned out pretty good I think. You can see my trailer this weekend if you are coming to the event.
