Does anybody get a Sirius signal in mexico/ South america?

thinking about driving down to the southern tip of south america. I think this would be a BIG luxury on the trip. how far does the signal go down?

I don't know about Sirius but I personally have caught XM about an hour north of Mexico City. It did cut out a lot with the mountains though.

People in boats have caught XM as far as Honduras. The line of sight to the satellite is much better over water though.

There is no way either would work much further than that though.

I think it's just a North American thing so far...
