We have a 2009 Chrysler T&C Touring that has been giving us a crank / no start issue and then occasionally a start then die issue. I understand the Dodge trucks have a similar issue and the dealership replaces the fuel pump, then the starter, then the TIPM, costing the customer thousands of dollars and still not being fixed.
Researching this, I found on a Chrysler Minivan website, that this is very common because of the fuel pump relay is built into the board inside the TIPM and is known to fail. It typically happens when the vehicle is cold. Sometimes it will start immediately after it happens, sometimes not. The Dodge trucks apparently die while driving and don't restart.
Some of the Dodge Models have had a recall for this and the dealership will install an external relay to bypass the original relay. They pull the TIPM, cut a couple wires, and hang the relay where convenient.
I found a company that has built a high quality bypass circuit board that was a 15 minute install and is a permanent fix. It was $104, I had it in hand three days after I ordered it, and all reviews are top notch.

I wanted to post this to help any owners of Dodge products and are having a similar issue.
