Do people actually try to sell their roof racks after install?

I am looking for 2 additional cross bars and it doesn't seem like something that someone would actually spend the time to list here. Ive typically thrown stuff like that out.

Just post a wanted and hope for the best? Philadelphia Craigslist is not a hotbed of 100 series parts.

Typically, if they take the time to list it for sale, they ask for an amount far above most folks valuation.

That was my fear. they are either thrown away or listed for too much. i just want extras so i dont need to readjust between beach chairs and roof box widths.

Just checked my covers, not sure they're in any condition to sell. I have them all, but I wouldn't take any money for them. The little plastic tabs are broke inside, not all but atleast 1 to 3 on each cover. I can send pics if anybody needs them.

I have two good racks with 3 perfect covers and 1 cracked, but as pointed out the hassle of selling & shipping something means you need to charge for at least your time...

I work right across the river, in Camden. I might have my factory rack up for sale soon.
