Do not go to these clowns!!!!!

Midwest Driveshaft new and remanufactured driveshafts, driveshaft repair

After much drama about modifying a drive shaft, they over charged me and the shaft shakes like crazy. This morning I called the guy to let him know I would bring the shaft in for him to look at and he litterally laughed at me, told me "life is too short" and hung up the phone!!

Wow......thats pretty bad. I'll bet you'll go "visit" him?!?

Shove it up his a** after you get your money back and make your own DS.

and i probably went to school with the guy...i graduated from st charles high (i guess there's two stc highs now...i went to the one on dunham rd).

Dude... That blows. He won't be in business for long, doin things like that.

If you know what needs to be done- send it to me. Action Machine is in South Bend. Probably the best driveshaft shop on the planet.

Action Machine Inc - Custom Driveshafts & CNC Machine Shop

They do all the work for the Hummer plant, all my work as well as for every 4x4 shop north of Indy.

And they're not too expensive. I had a mini-truck 2 piece rear shaft shortened, re-tubed, and balanced for $60. And that was for both pieces.

Im glad to report that the credit card company also saw it my way and I got my $120 back from these tools!

Well, now Midwest Drive Shafts is disputing my dispute with a letter full of BS. These guys are truely scum bags! And as I tell everyone who may EVER need drive shaft work done, half of those people already know how crappy these guys are.

So now I have to jsup through a couple more hoops and continue fighting it.

Just a reminder in case anyone forgot :D

These guys took my DS and performed a simple job. The drive shaft was extreemly out of balance!!!! No big deal, I called them and asked them to rebalace. They said they would charge me! When I pressed the issue they claimed they didnt want to see that drive shaft ever again because the tubing was TOOOO heavy wall (.090 wall INSUTRY STANDARD, High angle drive lines uses .090, and i bet tom woods does too). Then they told me "LIFE IS TOO SHORT" AND HUNG UP!
