I have made initial contact with SC Forestry, SC DNR, and also SC Trails Program. Awaiting first responses and will advise as I get more information.

I approached them on volunteer opportunities with forestry restoration, reintroduction of native plants, hanging wood duck nesting boxes, cleaning up illegal dumping, etc.

I also mentioned some type of support for handicapped or disadvantaged children where we can get forestry or dnr educational involvement while giving them access via our wheels.

I have made phone calls and also sent emails... wish me luck. LOL

making contact...just got off phone with one individual and while not much available now sounds promising for future with some work. Will give full report at next meeting.

Recruit members from any Landcruiser you see around town even if it is a soccer mom....LOL
