That's a protractor. I guess it could be used but it seems like overkill.IBCRUSN said:http://www.aircraftspruce.com/menus/to/measuringdevices.html
First item on the page. Good units won't be all that cheap.
Based on my experience with the bubble type, accurate isn't that critical. I call them sphincter meters, around 20° your sphincter tightens so much you quit paying attention to the guage and start finding stuff to hold on to.IBCRUSN said:I guess it could be but they are very accurate and you can set "0" anywhere as a reference.
What would be interesting would be one that recorded max readings, like those indoor outdoor thermometers. During the moment who has time to look at some stinking meter? But after you got through that nasty off-camber section it might be nice to know just how hairy it was.Mace said:Personally, My anus is a lot more accurate than a meter![]()
Once you have over 4,000 post you are immune from having threads deletedLukeZero said:I'm afraid one of the moderators will delete this thead because it contains posts that have both "hairy" and "anus" in them. Careful where you stick that digital inclinometer.![]()
