Differences? F sport vs luxury AHC

BLUF: Is there any difference in the tuning of the AHC in the F sport vs the Luxury trims?

I am trying to get a luxury with AHC, appearance package with 18” wheels and NO rear entertainment. My dealer is telling me the best they can do is guarantee the trim and color but individual features they have no control over. Fair enough but they are telling me that all the luxuries being allocated have rear entertainment and do not have the appearance package. The only way they can guarantee no rear entertainment is to get an f sport model. This brings me to the question if the AHC on the f sport is tuned any different than the luxury trim? I guess I can immediately swap out the wheels and tires but the rear entertainment is an absolute no go. Anyone know definitively? Thanks.

My dealer hasn't had any luxury models come without rear screens either. After 6 years of those appendages on the Landcruiser, I just can't do it.

They do exist. I have a black luxury trim, with appearance package and no rear entertainment. I picked it up 2 weeks ago. It does have 20’s though. I’ll gladly get after market wheels down the road over dealing with the 2nd row screens again.

I don’t know if others have had a different experience, but I don’t think you can order anything now. When your spot in line comes up, and the dealer has an allocation, you get to say yes or no. When my spot came up, there was a black on black luxury with rear entertainment or an atomic silver on black f sport.

I don't know about the AHC tuning. But you do gain the rear limited slip diff. Taken from Lexus

Torsen limited-slip rear differential and a sport-tuned suspension system.

As far as the rest of it.....I just ordered the exact same thing. A silver Luxury with AHC, Appearance package, 18 in matte wheels and no rear entertainment. I told them I could be flexible on the color and would take white, dark gray, or possibly even the new Nori green.

Dealer told me it could be awhile to get what I want, 2023 for sure.....possibly even 2024. I guess this is just kind of the norm right now. I just waited 16 months for a Rav4 Prime XSE with the package and options I wanted.

I would really like to see one in person before taking delivery, guess I have plenty of time. However, if anyone has one and would be willing in the St Louis area....I would love to take a look at one. Thanks

I think I’m just going to do this as well. There are 24 people on the list in front of me just for an f sport. Definitely looking at more than a year for that. Might as well get exactly what I want.

I ended up with a luxury w/AHC, w/o rear entertainment, w/o appearance package on 22”s.

I just ordered a set of OEM 18” rims which are arriving on Friday. I ordered an appearance package grille, it is currently at the shop getting ceramic coated, to replace the chromey grille.

The unfortunate side is that the appearance package grille alone costs more than the entire appearance package (and I have to install it).

I priced out the parts to convert a non-appearance to the appearance package and it was over 7k, not counting the 2k in rims for the 18”.

Long story short, I will now have a set of 18” with winter/off-road tires, 22”s for the summer, and a black grille…..I found the most expensive way possible to get 18” and a (modified) appearance package on my rig.

To the OP, I ordered F-Sport, but had to compromise if I wanted a rig anytime soon….
