Differences between 16-18 and 20-21 (1 Viewer)

Are there any significant differences between the last run of the 16+ LC's? I thought 2019 brought better bluetooth connectivity but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe extra safety features?

Later models came with 35” tires, a winch, 60 gallon gas tank, drawers with built in fridge, roof top tent with awning, 200 watts solar and 1000 watt inverter, 3 batteries, CarPlay, satellite WiFi, 3X diffs, full skids, swing out dual spare tires and a few other minor changes.

people who own 16-19 will tell you those are the best because they dont have covid problems


people who own 20/21 will tell you those are the best as historically last model year withh lowest production commands highest premium

HE owners wont talk to you at all as they are top of mountain and are too good to post on old style forums as they flex their non cool box trucks on Instagram with all the doodads in a starbucks parking lot

For LC:

2020+: new front differential design…maybe better/stronger differential carrier??

2018+: KDSS bolt change, automatically power-folding outside mirrors, late-2018s have new radiator design, late-2018s have capacitive touch screen on center display, powered lift gate, non-mandatory rear entertainment, newer transmission software (flashable on 2016-2017), and new key (very cool) design.

2016+ LC also gains bigger front brakes, 8-speed auto, semi-aniline leather of the LX, and has better buttons arrangement than prior years.
