If they have all the service records and you like the carfax, and you could get some off that price you might be winning! Ask about windshield replacement, check the de-icers and rattle in the trim if it was replaced!
Tire treads
KDDS valves
I always visually inspect all the plastic clips and brackets in the hood/engine compartment - do they match, are the straight?

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Have a few quick follow up questions:
- Checking the de-icers is self-explanatory. I read that some members of the forum have had issues with theirs not getting hot enough.
- In terms of rattle in the trim, is there anything specific to look for?
- For the KDSS valve, I found a guide on Slee. It looks like I might need some tools to get to it. Is there an easy way to check this?

The side moldings that are on the left and right side of the windshield may be loose or the clips under them may be broken from a replacement job - do they wiggle more than they feel solid, any sounds from wiggling them? When driving, sometimes it can sound like sand hitting the windshield, to me. Also it may be more apparent if there is a cross wind.

KDSS should be viewable when parked on the drivers side frame, just basic visual check to see if there is any anomalous rust on the screws or valve body. If it looks clear then you may have less issues if you need to reset after a lift. If you don't plan to lift it, this is a less important concern until resale.

It looks like the windshield has been replaced, but the side moldings are solid and don't wiggle. Didn't hear any sound while driving on the highway.

I crawled under and checked out the KDSS. The bolts holding the cover have no rust at all, but the valve itself is pretty rusty. The funny thing, I couldn't find rust anywhere under the vehicle other than the KDSS. It's hard to say how "bad" the rust is as I have nothing to compare it to.

Is this something that would prevent you from pulling the trigger? Or is it something that can be fixed after purchase?

Thanks again for all of the help!

I think the KDSS body has a tendency to rust in general, that alone would not stop me, work on the price! Good luck!
