I bought 5 new Denso tpms sensors, 550-0103 was part number. The shop that installed tires and sensors couldn’t get them programmed, they said I need to find a shop with a Bartec programmer. I googled Bartec, it looks like a brand to me.
Question: is there a relatively inexpensive tool I can buy to program tpms? Or should I just call around to some local places to see if they can program?

I thought this Denso sensor came preprogrammed for the gx, that’s why i bought this model. I realize I can disable tpms, but I’d rather try getting it to work since I spent the coin on sensors. Any advice appreciated, I really am sick of that damn light. Thanks.

edit: I have techstream and a cable, but haven’t tried setting it up yet. I need an old laptop...

I would expect the techstream can do it. I had the same problem and bought this. Amazon product ASIN B008SCWXN4 You will need the ID numbers off each sensor. Most shops can read the sensors.
Thanks, I installed techstream last night, need to test on my gx to make sure it’s working. I do have all the boxes from tpms, I think they might have the ID numbers.
