I love it. All looks great. I'd love to see it powdercoated in its final form.
Nice work guys!

Here is another bumper related project we've been working on for 100 Series. A local guy really wanted the ability of bolting our ladder on his ARB bumper, so we adapted our swingarm plate into a "weld it yourself" kit (we can also do the welding if desired) for folks who are interested in adding more options/functionality to their ARB. It's the same plate that is detailed here: DeltaVS rear bumper swingarm data so folks can use any of our accessories, or build their own!

you guys will make a weld-it-yourself kit, but you wont ship a 80 center console un-coated for a guy who wants to add some extra bits before powder coating it? I believe the reasoning in your other thread was not wanting your name on something with a powdercoat you couldn’t QC? Makes no sense. Some home gamers welds are![]()
Strategic brand placement hahaIf the diy welds look like s***, it'll be on a bumper with a different brand on it anyway![]()
That is a good looking bumper. I am not a big fan of the bull bar look but yours looks the best of any I have seen. I thought the bumper was going to look like a Road Armor overkill design. I was wrong, it looks proportionate and complements the Hundy. Not an easy feat to create a new bumper design that looks good and provides front end protection. Job well done, cheers!
I donated my rig to Delta VS for these bumpers to be engineered, last October, 2018. I paid $2000 at that time. They said they'd be finished before X-mas....
I still don't have my rig back.
Their designs are cool, they say things that don't pan out and keep changing timelines. You'd think I'd get a really good deal...but I just got shat on.
You see, I still haven't been told when it'll be complete, nor how much the final bill will be. They seem to think it's perfectly ok that it has stretched out ten months longer than quoted, because they are giving me a discount...but still not sure what that is...that hasn't been outlined.

I agree. There was no need to make any of this public. Not sure what the intention was. My experience with DVS has been excellent!@FJBroBri Why would you go the route you did to call them out? I would bet my own rig that it’s not like they’re holding your truck hostage. You have the right and ability to take it back at any point. Sure a lot of things don’t always pan out according to the original plans, and yes 10+ months is a little long, but at the end of the day YOU let them keep it for that long. They didn’t demand that from you. They’re not telling you “no you can’t have it back”. Maybe asking via email/calling/seeing them in person is a better option than talking s*** on a public forum about a very reputable company that has done lots for our community. Suck it up buttercup.
Respect. Nicely done. The single response you will receive in an open forum:
Your vehicle is ready for pickup (sans bumpers) and there is a $2500 check waiting for you on my desk.
Edit: got a little carried away with the multi quote
I am excited to see them powdercoated! Will take some when it gets back from powdercoat.
