Hi all,

Anyone know of a GOOD, trustworthy and professional Toyota dealer in Southern California?

If I buy an FJ, I do not want to deal with sharks and jerks. I know it's hard, but I found a great Honda dealer, so there must be a good Toyota dealer out there somewhere.

thanks!

DON'T go to Kearny Mesa Toyota in San Diego.

I bought mine at Hammer Toyota in the san fernando valley. So far they are great to deal with .

Back in the 90's we bought a couple of Saturns and the dealers just spoiled us forever for the typical car dealer experience. Since then, we actually found a Honda dealer we really like, but I have yet to find a great Toyota dealer.

Thanks for all the help!

In July we bought a Sienna down at Toyota of Carlsbad, after calling all over SoCal looking for a specific model they happened to have 2 in stock. Dealt directly with fleet over the phone, they were great. My only minor complaint is that they didn't process the paperwork through on the trade properly. (Truck was registered in Hawaii). I'll certainly call them first when I begin the search for the next Toyota.

I concur. I had a VERY bad experience with the sales team there. Stay away from KM Toyota!

I was treated so good at Toyota of Riverside by Eric Dorati;) Then when I got home I realized I really got worked:rolleyes: Traded a 99 Toyota Sienna xle for $4500 and bought a 07 FJC for $34,000:eek: Yup This was my very first purchase for a new vehicle by myself. I got Hammered up the *** big time:crybaby: but I loves my FJ and im happy!

Yikes! I am so sorry this happened to you. The way dealers treat women buyers is a dead giveaway to their quality and character, or the lack of same.

I went in there once, and they struck me as a bunch of sharks. Too damn many desperate young salesguys in shirts and ties waiting to pounce, and the guy I ended up with either lied to me straight out, or simply did not know the cars well enough and was faking his way through. Either way he cannot be trusted. (he told me the only difference in the offroad package was the tires)

They definitely lost a sale with me. I will not patronize dealers like that.

I bought my FJ at Toyota of San Jaun Capistrano, not only was their service awesome but they were fast too, I didnt have to spend all day barganing with them, if you have a costco membership they do a deal through them that drops the price of the FJ to 500 above MSRP so i got that plus i was able to knock their interst rate down to 5.5 and i was a first time byer. I would go back there in a heart beat. Their service department is awesome too, my stepmom went back to buy her FJ from them because she was so pleased with the service that i got.
