Ahem, what’s the latest and greatest? Too long between posts. We need our fix.

Yes, update please.....just read through 38 pages and need to see the latest photos! Beautiful build so far, very inspirational.

Not much to update other than all the body work is done. I am waiting for my turn to get the body painted. Long story there! Since I last posted my back got much worse. After several injections, I finally got a doctor that got it right but I know it's only temporary. They want to do a fusion but I don't want that unless I have no choice. I have since shut down my excavator business.

Just had another internal eye surgery on my right eye last Tuesday. My Doctor said all went well! The best eye doctors are at UCLA Med. Center in Westwood, CA

I turned 60 last month! :D That is a big milestone for me.

I've been checking in here and there with everyone wishing I had something to report. I have not stopped, I have not given up, and I am certainly going to finish. Just a temporary set back. At least I have I found California Gold to drive around. :steer:

Thanks @Aloha Jen much appreciated

Thanks for the update Dave. I wish your news was better. Is your business shutdown temporary? If not, I hope it’s because it because it’s something you WANT to do.

I’ve thought of you a few times in the last month. Interestingly enough, I’ve been approached to reassemble a ‘78 that just came out of the body shop. Just sent the harness off to @Coolerman for rehab while I rebuild the trans and tcase.

I also talked with @HENDOG the other day. He says “Hi”.

And...?

Let's see! I finally got a shot in my lower back that worked. Sold my heavy equipment and shut down the business in October. I am officially retired from the Operating Engineers after 42 years of service. It was a great run but my body couldn't take it any more. I thought I should quit before I ended up in a wheel chair. My other businesses are doing well and are still open. I have made several changes to the businesses for the better. It was really a intense time.

I should have a update hopefully by the end of the month. I haven't had time for it with all that's been going on! I finally got fed up and had to go in and crack the whip.

I removed the fuel hard lines because I don't like the way I originally did them. I ordered more material and will give it another try. Probably the hardest thing I've had to make because I have OCD on this rig :D

I actually took apart the heater box and steering column this week. I need to order some parts for that too.

It's nice to cruise through the forum again and catch up. I have much more to catch up on.
