All,

I have a 2000 LC with 225k. I've replaced the dashlights with LED, but recently noticed that many no longer light at startup (IG ON).

I have the FSM, but not the most literate with wiring diagrams. Is there a way to bench-test the cluster to look for defunct bulbs - rather that installing/re-installing the cluster?

@100ownernow Most of the instrument cluster bulbs are directly powered, then selectively grounded to illuminate. Some bulbs are directly grounded and selectively powered to illuminate. Others get grounded by circuity internal to the cluster.

You can certainly test them by hotwiring the cluster connectors, but you need the rest of the wiring diagram that shows what your green highlighted pins are connected to. Is there another diagram or list that tells you what the connector pins are connected to externally?

For example, here's part of my 1998's diagram that shows the connections outside the cluster. I can tell that if I power pin C8 and ground C7 my Airbag light should turn on.

@100ownernow Here is what I've found for the 2000 LC instrument cluster ("combination meter") wiring diagram. I'm concerned because it doesn't match what your pics are showing.

For example, this diagram shows pin A15 as the +12V power input to many of the indicator bulbs, while your pics show A15 as being related to the seal belt switch. Are you sure your book is for a 2000 LC? just want to check because things should match up.
