I looked in the FSM but I didn't see any info on changing or replacing the dash lights in my '91. Can anyone give me the scoop on this fix? The lights are out for almost everything but the main cluster, i.e. spedo and tach. Thanks.

Photo, does the truck shift into drive? Or is the shifter stuck?

It shifts fine. the lights are going out one by one. I noticed when we got the thing a year and a half ago, the heater switch aria had no light and just noticed last night that the rest of the lights have burned out. I am assuming there are small lights behind the dash and was thinking I might have to take the dash pannel out to replace tham but was thinking I might be able to reach them without haviong to remove the lower pannel. (Ya right).

The individual switches, e.g. hazards, antenna, etc. have individual bulbs. Pop the switch out and they are easily romoved with a small screwdriver. CDan or you local Toyota dealer can get them. A couple buck a piece.

I haven't pulled the dash panel to replace lights, but some here have. Search with dash panel or dash lights.
