Dash guage pod light out

Then I bought my FJ60 over seven years ago the dash light to the guages went out and magically started working a month later and haven't had a problem since. About two months ago this light went out again and hasn't come back on, all the other dash light work.

I took the screws out to get access to the back of the pod, I was hoping that unplugging and cleaning the terminals in the back may help but it didn't. So I'm trying to find a fix because I hate not being able to see my guages at night. The FSM is not help. Any ideas about how to fix this or replacing the lighting element?

Pull the dimmer switch, jump across the wires and see what happens. Even money it is a bad dimmer. 60 and 62 dimmers are not the same.

I'll try that but I would think if it were the dimmer switch that it would also affect the light in the speedo. The speedo light works perfectly.
