Dartmouth Car Show

Hey guys,

I know I'm not very active (or at all) with Yankee Toys, so hopefully you all don't mind me chiming in on the clubhouse forum. I was hoping you guys might have some other fun cars you might think about putting in a car show I'm putting together. It's October 14, 2012 in Hanover, NH. It's to raise money for Dartmouth's Formula Racing team. In previous years, teams had turboed a 600cc engine making 100hp to power a 600lb car. More recently, the team's been building a hybrid race car with a 250cc Honda dirt bike engine and a modest 18kW electric motor to power the rear wheels. you can see more at http://www.dartmouth.edu/~dfr/

Yeah! They were there. We had about 50% of the cars we were expecting because it rained the entire day, but we're having another show in the spring. We actually gained a lot of cred in the upper valley from the show, so that was a lot of fun. Found this happy attendee's post on a tesla forum:
