I have a neighbor who bought a '72 GMC pickup. Evidently a PO swapped in a Dana 44. He says one of his hubs is failing. I told him to take the locking hub assy off and count the splines to be able to order the correct locking hub.
What's the easiest way to make sure this is truly a Dana 44 and find out what it came off?
