daily driving pedal recommendation

What is a good pedal for just kicking around town.. I did some googling and found a lot of choices.

I wouldn't do a road clipless pedal--at least not road clipless shoes--because you can't really walk around in the shoes. Anything else is probably fine, unless there is something you're not tell us.

no clips... I'm on the other side... something that is flip flop friendly. Atomlab pimp light, something like that.

no one?... I have xt m 735 pedals now and they are not very comfortable with flip flops. Any suggestions
