I hope to put a few more tech items out as time permits, but here is the first. When someone inquires about an ABS sensor, my first response is what type do you need? And most of the time the customer doesn't know.

Here is how you can check to ensure you know which one to get. The easiest way is to turn the wheel all the way to the right or left and then come in from the front and remove the 2 10MM bolts and GENTLY pull out the speed sensor. BE CAREFUL as the plastic WILL break on the 95-97 models. Just wiggle it back and forth as you gently pull up.

Once it's out, take a look at them. There are 2 types
  1. the 93-94 is a silver sensor with a single long prod. This is on the left in the pics
  2. the 95-97 is a black sensor with two smaller prods. This is on the right in the pics
See the pic below. This is the case for 99% of the time. I did see one truck that didn't follow the pattern. Anyway, you can use these pics to reference the type you need.
