I went and looked at this little trailer today. It's pretty cool. It has gerry can holders and three good size storage boxes on the side and front. It has an aluminum rack on top of the lid and a hard shell 2 man RTT which looked a little moldy. The trailer has been sitting outside so there is some surface rust on the lid. The guy is selling it for his neighbor who is from South Africa. She and her husband shipped it over from there. Then they got divorced and the trailer was left. Now she wants it out of the garage.

Sorry for the crappy iphone pic.

PM me if you want more info. With a little work, it could be an awesome trailer.

He's asking $800. :bounce:

I'd be happy to facilitate buying and helping get this trailer to you if you are interested in it and not local.

Will post some pics this weekend, I'm making room in the garage for my new toy!

Sorry for the slow progress. I was going to do a bunch of stuff to this but got side tracked. I bought a 97 LX450 with factory lockers! I was just delivered my arb bullbar, warn xd9000i, arb side steps with fender protection and Kragen 7'' hids along with black rims. Plus doing a bunch of preventive maintenance has slowed this project.

M416 was not much of a rebuild, I just packed the bearings with grease, replaced the shocks, sanded away the rust and primed it and gave it a rattle can paint job. As far as the lid it's ply. Nothing special, it was just a quick throw together to do some camping over a long weekend. I fitted the lid with some cherokee lift struts to assist the lifting. Worked well. I fitted a old oem roofrack from a toyota 4runner at a junk yard that happened to have some yakimha racks on it. I did not cut the tailgate, I bought it that way and closed it up with some bolted plywood and silicone. The reason I did this was it made the tub weak and wasn't reinforced by the previous owner.
The tent is a mombassa roof top tent...It's a cheaper option and works awesome. I'll be moving the mombassa to the bundu trailer once it's been cleaned up, derusted lifted and sprayed!

wow, I dig the backup lights on the trailer. Hadn't thought of that, now on my list.

Whats the ring on the rear of the bundu for?

The back up lights were a quick fit for a long weekend trip. I would not suggest putting them that low due to backing into things! The ring on the back of the trailer is some sort of paperwork or sort of license plate/registration from it's original country. I thought it was cool and figured I would leave it.
