I whipped out a few of these for some local club members. Going to throw this out and see if there is any interest from others who might be seeking something similar. Each of these sets cover the front and rear control arm bushings for the 80 series. These are made from 17-4 Stainless and heat treated to h900. These have a yield strength of 190,000 PSI so I would expect them to last a very very very long time....there is also the added bonus of the too cool for school bling bling heat treat gold. They are turned slightly less than the ID of the control arms to prevent binding and large enough to get a good push on the bushing sleeves.

I can custom turn a puck w/relief top or bottom for any size bushing you like. Also can do custom turning, threading, and boring.

$150 per set + $14 USPS shipping

I can also offer some limited manual machining service. I am equipped with a 16x36" capacity lathe and can accommodate a wide range of turning projects.

I'll be needing something like this to press out some Lexus LS430 control arm bushings. If I can share the OD and collar thickness measurements, could you spin one out for me? Looks like a great setup by the way.

Do you have any knowledge if any of the sizes for the 80 would work for 100s or 200s?

I can do that no problem! Little one-off jobs are right up my alley. Just get me the OD measurement of the bushing you wish to remove and i will undersize a puck by about .003". I am not well read on the 100/200 series so i cant say for sure. I will say though that cold hard steel will not care either way if the size matches up!

I can also put some relief into the top/bottom depending on what kind of nipple the bushing has sticking out of it. You can see there is a very slight lip on the fat end for pushing the new bushings in without having to balance on an exact OD and risk gouging something.

I still have two sets remaining. They are set up just like the ones pictured below. $150 per set + $14 USPS shipping

The press tool @FJsapper made for me worked perfectly for my LS430 lower control arm bushings. The lathe work was tight and the tool was well packaged for shipping.

It functioned perfectly for pressing the big bushings out of the arm. The recess in the tool for the mounting collar was adequate and he even machined a little centering ring that really made it easy.

After pressing the bushing out, the bushing released easily from the tool and wasn't bound in the arm at all. It all came apart quickly and on to the next one.

Toyota/Lexus doesn't sell the whole assembly for the LS and many owners just use a similar assembly available for the IS, but I didn't want to go that route. I sourced the appropriate bushings and just needed this great tool to press them in.

I'm not sure I'll ever use it again since I only make a habit of buying land cruisers, but I'll either pass it along or offer my press and tool to other LS owners that need it.

Thanks again!

Bumping this up again, I can whip these up any time if somebody needs a set. I use 17-4, it’s expensive, but will hold up way better than other options, have a few sets in the wild with high double digit service.
