Did something happen to the curse word filter? All I see is stars now.

Without the curse word filter on I still only see stars unless it's me that decides to curse.
Have been trying to chase an issue with the selectable filter...it's been off for a week or more. Filter is "on" regardless until I get the issues resolved.
