Anyone know if the "butterfly" cupholder insert from 01-04 LX470's will fit a 99LC?

I hope you get some additional feedback on this as I am currently searching for a part..... In short - the answer is no. I have a 99 LC (sans the butterfly thingy) - but recently "acquired" the butterfly thingy from dealer. The story goes that he couldn't see this piece on the 99 schematic in computer - but no worries he would order one from newer model (not sure even what year he pulled up?) and rest assured it would fit. Well, now that I have the piece - it doesn't and I'm now trying to locate a used bottom portion of the cupholder (in console next to the e-brake) without much success.
Now - there are some threads on here discussing this but difficult to determine final resolution. Here are my results:
It appears that the 98-99 LC have a different design on this cup holder than the 2000 - newer LC's. I'm not sure if the 98-99's ever had anything in the middle of the cup holder. So I think the "line" in design for LC's is at the 98-99(original/old design) vs. 2000 and up (newer design). There also seems to be some discussion that the older LX's from 98-99 have the same design as the newer (2000 - on)LC's? Not sure - but I will put out a shameless plug here -

if its from a 98-02 LX470 it SHOULD fit. I know in 03 the center console on the LX is slightly different style and the cupholder could very well be different.
