So I was loading my UPS truck on Friday outside of the UPS store in Ashland. My loading zone is right next to a busy intersection and I'm always watching the cars go by.
I heard a diesel coming up to the intersection and as it got closer I realized it wasn't your average Powerstroke or Cummins, I looked up and saw an FJ80 coming to a stop. As I'm eyeballing it I see a chrome "Cummins" emblem on the rear tailgate. By the sound of it it must have been a 4bt with a big exhaust. As it accelerated away I saw that it was noticed it was silver with maybe a 2" body lift and bone stock tires and rims. The only thing that gave it away as anything special was the emblem on its butt. I was shocked that someone would put so much work into a rig and leave it painfully stock looking. So Kief do you know the guy or what? I'm pretty sure it was Oregon plates but I couldn't really tell for sure. Pretty cool to see that conversion done on an 80.
