Cullowhee Again???????????

OK guys and gals, I am headed back to the promise land next weekend. I am sure it's not enough notice for most but I wanted to at least throw it out there in the case someone could join us.

Same agenda - climb Moses and camp at the bald Friday night. Head down Caney early Sat and do some fishing in the Tuck (yes, it is legal then ).

Head out late afternoon across 281 and into the Mills River community for more camping and then trout slay day on Sunday.

Hanging with Alex on Saturday down by the 2nd camp made me realize I've been neglecting a past time that has helped me to become who I am (along with my brother riding me incessantly)...

I hope someone / everyone can make it. That place is truly magical to me.

I'm headed up to the Linville area Fri. night. Won't be doing any wheeling, to many fish, to little time. I'll be fishing above the falls and over on the Toe Rivers and wherever else I can get to. Cullowhee is a little further away which = less time fishing.

We'll be fishing a bunch this weekend too - although this is one of my least favorite weekends during the year. Too many people for my taste...

We'll be fishing Sat and Sun. Sat wild trout waters / delayed harvest near Cullowhee (cuts down the crowds) and then delayed harvest near Asheville on Sunday.

Agreed, to many people on this weekend, but still, it's fishing. I like Hatchery supported because I don't take a lot of food with me and need to eat.

Roger that, you know what they say about fishing and work...

Having the Cruiser at the trail / stream has made me spoiled with luxuries like coolers, ice, etc. We eat well and have plenty of too.

Even during the season in hatchery waters, we don't harvest very many. One or two to eat and the rest back to fight again another day!!!

We fish year round, let me know if you ever want to meet up sometime and slay'em!

Cool. I used to work in Charlotte about 6 years ago. Commuted down from Statesville. Lived in Raleigh for about 2 years in early 90's. Been in Hickory 2 1/2.
