I'll combine these two since there's really nothing to the battery upgrade other than the mounting, and you can see them in the same pics as the fuse block.

The original battery had two "hot" wires out. One fused, one not. I wanted to add a plug in for a hard wired battery charger, outlet for my gps, and in the future, blinkers.

Since the battery doesn't protrude into the frame any more, I had the inner battery box at my disposal. I had one of these laying around too. Strobes N' More

It happens to fit perfectly in the inner battery box.

Here you can see the two wires attached to the main lug of the fuse block. The bigger red one is the battery lead, the smaller red/white one is the one that is the unfused wire. The wire on the top right is fused 10A. That's what rating the old glass fuse was in the old s***ty fuse holder that came with the battery.

So the way it sits in this picture is exactly how every thing was originally, but with a AGM battery and a ganged fuse block.

Here's some pictures of it all closed up.

I found a project enclosure while I was at Radio Shack.

Here it is next to the battery. I will keep extra fuses and electrical connectors in it.

This is completed. All wires pushed back in the cavity. The battery cover fits with no problem over the new battery and the project box where it sits.

The box by its self.

NO ICE.

You've much improved your bike over the original electrical system.

I will probably follow your lead on that location for the fusebox.

I'll post in this thread when I do mine.

I couldn't get the Werker with the terminals to work on my CT110 since they touched the frame when installed. I ordered one of the PS640WL variants and it worked just fine. Good write up!

LOL. I knew your name sounded familiar. There's a Doug that posts quite a bit over here. Honda Trail CT's - Message Board - Yuku :lol:

Your sig lines don't match up. :flipoff2:

Hi Valentine.

That's me over at the Yuku site. I don't think that I included the cruiser in the sig line though. I really like the Yuku over the Yahoo group. Less political and more into the Cts. Here's a photo of my Cruiser:

Nice 40. It looks clean and straight.

We'll have to do some trail riding this summer.

Yuku is definitely better than Yahoo. I'll take a forum format over the old school email list format any day.

Sounds good Nick. There are some pretty spectacular views up in Capitol Forest just west of Oly or perhaps there's someplace down in Vancouver that would be nice to ride. At the moment, I don't have anyway to get the CT110 from place to place other than riding it and it's a long ride to Vancouver.

I installed my battery right side up. I modified the factory external bracket to hold it without any zip ties or straps. I used a simple in line fuse so I don't have any accessory circuit capability, but there is a lot of room in there on the internal battery bracket for mounting stuff. Also you could easily fit a bigger battery in there. I think one of the 12 ah AGM batteries that is less than 2" wide would fit fine.
