Hey all,

I'm trying to think of a reasonably inexpensive way to overcome the big stupid I did to my drivers side front door over a year ago. It still closes, though the seal isn't tight. It has shifted slightly forward and is rubbing on the front fender edge whenever I open and close it. If you recall, I backed up the drive way with the door hanging open and snagged it on the garage, bending it back......

I'm thinking I could find a middle of the road, temporary solution that won't cost me $400. (price of a used door from Cruiserparts.net).

Can anyone suggest a body shop that could bend it back? Mainly I'd like to get it so it moves freely and doesn't rub the frame.

Other thoughts/suggestions are welcome.

treerootco parted a 60 and might have a good door...check with him.

Check your hinges. They may have been the part that got tweaked or out of alignment. Hinges should be a hell of a lot cheaper than a door!
