This hydroboost kit designed for the 80 series would probably clear that stuff just fine-

Ibooster… IJS. Locks the 37s at will, and I still have brakes with the engine stalled (or off).

I'm familiar with them. My Tesla has one. I prefer hydroboost with an OEM master for correct bias and a clean appearance.

Hydroboost is designed with a nitrogen pressure accumulator to deliver maximum braking pressure with the engine off for 1-2 pedal cycles.

I’m .. familiar. I have one on the F-350, and put one on my 40 back in 2004.

This is better.
:)

What master cylinder did you use?
Back in 2004, the GM pattern master that matched the hydroboost. But that truck has wilwood front and GM pattern rear calipers and rotors. It was 2004 and it was the best solution at the time. It stopped nicely on 35s. Didn’t have to play with bias at all. Never even installed the p-valve. (If they’re setup right, you don’t need one.)

Those axles got moved to my 82 fj40, which has a 80 series master and booster. Lighter truck (no armor), way less tire, way less likely to be taken over 70mph. 🤣

I’ve not decided what to do with that OG 40. Maybe a clone of this. I have most of the pieces, and it’s already setup for a SBC and 4L60e

All that said, the ibooster is better. It’s awesome.

So unfortunately we ran into a hiccup and the piggy is going back to the barn for now but will be back! We got into it and started loosing fuel pressure at the higher end of the pulls so we need to figure out why we’re losing pressure and then bring it back for a second round.

What we did make was still great #’s but overall a disappointing morning and I am not happy with the overall result.

For now at the wheels it is making 370 hp and 507 lb-ft. 400/550 is well in range when we get this sorted

Bummer, but that's how the game goes! Just another bump in the road to an awesome and well sorted product
