has anyone priced out a kit to build on their own and fab j pipe and hot side them selves?

We did and spent so much time on it we even decided to offer it 🍻 there’s the link for when you’re ready

Sorry not stock
Do you mind if I ask what you have for the rest of your exhaust is or looks like? Stage 2 on your build. I'll be installing stage 2 on a 94 and doing ss exhaust in-house really do not want it loud 3 inch straight pipe ain't gonna cut it lol

Has the shop zero’d in on a preferred muffler for the rigs you all have built? I’ve installed an S1 kit and plan to go with a 3” exhaust system and want it to be quiet but not choked by the muffler.

Anyone else have input?

I ran a magnaflow 11229 muffler and a real little cat on mine - all 3" stainless - and it's just a tad too loud on the highway. Gonna add a resonator to the back as soon as time allows. For reference, 20 year old me would say it sounds badass, like my Supra, and leave it. 45 year old me wants it quieter on the long trips.

I got old and it sucks.

Yes and have since bought a kit from them and installed another one on a friends truck. For the time wasted, trial and error I would not do it again. you will not find a more comprehensive kit that’s 95% plug and play also backed with customer support and a good reputation.
Also maybe not the place to post, just saying bad etiquette. Post in the tech section and you will get answers.

Agreed! I wanted to say what you said but decided it better be left to those more tactful.

I never said I was proper haha. Yes I agreed bad etiquette. I have always been one to do things my self and learn the hard way to save money that’s all. I’m sure the pay once cry once is the way to go.

C&C did the crying for us. The R&D part induces headaches I don’t want.
