1) At Eric's softball game a few weeks back we saw a FJ60 parked at the game. We left a note on it, but have not heard from the owner. And haven't seen it at any games since.

2) A few weeks ago we saw a Bright Yellow FJ40 Cruiser sitting at Logans off Wendover. After leaving a note on it, we found out it was "Rice" here on Ih8mud.

3) Today at lunch when meeting the buyers of our truck we see an FJ 40 Cruiser driving thru Wendy's on 68. We flag the Cruiser down and it ended up being Eric (not my husband), the one that told us about Ellis media blasting.

It is great seeing cruisers running around town... And putting Faces and Cruisers to screen names on here. I have been very pleased with meeting the "Cruiser Family" everyone has been so friendly and ready to talk cruisers. I feel honored to be a member of this family. We just need to have some Family Reunions.. :)

now that we own one, we see them everywhere....

in the Triangle area I can probably point to you the areas where I know there are cruisers....basically I know my way around the triangle by cruiser's being used by my mental as landmarks...:)

Ditto on family reunions....I am meeting with my uncle Chad tonight his screen name is flounder

I guess I am some sort of bastard adopted child :).... I second the family reunion idea

reunion

I move that we start the family reunions at BDOR :D Meet up in the AM for a breakfast meet and greet and then roll or bounce :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: into High Point for an afternoon of fun.

It was great meeting you there as well. We just happen to use that as a meeting point for the buyer of our truck that drove in from Wilmington. It is amazing how things have worked out for us with this Cruiser.. It is like we are at the right place at the right time with everything... Very odd... Not that we are complaining, it is a lot of fun..

I'll let Eric tell the whole story, but for example. We went to the movies and come out and we were hit by a Honda. We leave the movies "hot" over someone hitting the Cruiser (not that the Honda did any damage). We then see mud tracks on the road.. "Hmmm, what have we found here." Come to find out we found a mud hole so we joined the Jeep that was playing. Felt much better after our Mud treatment. How often does something like that happen???

sure thing Juan.... I'll put a few up when we get home. Who would have thought there would be trails and a mud pit right across from the movie theater....it was awesome.

we did get a monsoon rail storm at the house last night but I might have to go back out again. Need to get someone else out with us though. Not sure I trust a jeep to get me out if needed. He was struggling in some one the holes, but the 40 plowed through with no problems. I can't wait to get a set of swampers on. I never even touched 4 lo. I was pretty impressed. There were a few trails I did not go down just because the other guy had already left. I would hate to screw up and get stuck. If you guys are in town and want to make a pit stop in some mud, we'll stop by. I don't know how much is back there or if it would be worth the trip, but if you're ever in the area, we'll definately stop by.

Erick- Eric and I were at lunch in our Cruiser and we spotted you driving down 68, we were going to leave a note on your cruiser at BW3 but we didn't have a pen.

Sun. on Battelground

I spotted a Red w/ white bezel FJ40, with bikini top on Battelground Sun. around noon. At first I thought it was Roy's, but it wasn't. Anyone know this 40???
