don't forget to give us a fully detailed step by step of your turbo installation with all the parts # :D

The entire kit came from @gerg exhaust is up to the owner. Great guy to deal with and a canadian so local sorta to some of us haha. Puts together a very nice bolt of turbo setup

Id send @gerg a PM i dont wanna speak for him but i highly recommend him.

Spinny thing update coming in the morning!!!!

Its 1230 time for bed haha

Ok back to the motivation and fun stuff!

Removed aircleaner assembly then the blowby cover.

Shrapnal pile...

New blowby cover RTV up and back in place.

J pipe installed

Here its about 80% all completed

IT honestly took me 3hrs to get to this point and im by no means a skilled wrench turner. I took my time and double checked everything as i went.

Things left to do:
1. Run boost line
2. Figure out air cleaner. For now ill just be sticking a cone style onto the turbo (not the best way but all i can do) Had a plan already but the power steering resi gets in the way of what i was going to do. Never thought that one through haha
3. Adjust the IP for fuel delivery (retard timing)
4. Exhaust

For the novice guy who want to dabble in the turbo game this kit from @gerg is beyond great! ITs simple bolt on and his instructions are perfect and he is always quick to reply to an email with questions. Hopefully ill have this all wrapped up this week as i have a busy week ahead and used up my garage time all last night haha.

Well update time!!!

I got tired of using my fenders as tool storage so i treated the garage haha

Then i retarded my IP timing as suggested by the kits builder. This was tricky and a crude way to do it but its all we have to go on. You have to loosen several bolts then pry the IP a bit till you have about 1-2mm difference in the casting marks.

Next i made sure i was getting oil to the turbo from the low oil sensor hole. Turned it over a few times and bingo!

Here is the money shot!!!!!

Running a bit rough from not being started for almost 7 weeks but you get the idea. Still have no exhaust on it but its surprisingly quiet

Sweet!! Well done sir.

Well the plan to use the stock intake with some mods didnt really pan out as i didnt take into account the PS resi and the forward position of the turbo so i had to order a few pieces to make this work. Its not idea im not fully convinced on the cone filter reliability but this worked pretty nice and added a bit of "fast and furious" under the hood lol!

Also took it for a rip around the block and am impressed it spools quickly and you are not reving the piss outta it between gears.

Seeing that we have had basically no snow this winter then a Colorado low decided to push up on us and dump 10" of snow in the last 24hrs i figured i better get some snow wheeling in haha. 1st track for me alot of places tonight!! Loved it.

I forgot how exciting a short wheel base and skinny tires can be when you start hitting runs and some packed snow on the street. Pretty squirely i do say myself haha. Ended up sideways couple time when i was getting excited on the skinny pedal.

Well pulled the tires off today for some new paint on the rims and one other thing.

Found the front rotors are not looking very good and the rear drums are darn right scary looking. One of the drums is missing pieces lol. Rotors and pads i might do right away if i can find those locally. Drums i know i should do a disc swap but thats a winter project i dont want down time this summer as my days at home are always so limited.

Wow i priced out all new brakes all around them things are pricey!!!

Looking at $800 for everything
