Man did it ever i was all set to wait till next spring to hunt some more then the time was right and i had a family member 10 mins from the cruiser. Had her go check it out for me and gave a deposit right there. Guy said he had over 100 emails about it in 3 days. Like i said im a firm believer in cruiser karma and have been practicing it for years.

where is SK? i did the same thing when i bought mine. drove from nanimo to saskatoon. i went up through jasper and edmonton because we have family there. enjoy the trip. hope to see you around!!

So turns out its a fellow mudders truck i bought!!! Hahahaha. Didnt realize it till a buddy found it in a thread here on mud. Kinda makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. lol.

Well the journey is underway! Just waiting to catch my 2nd flight out to the island.

Well picked up the red 42 last night and got all the papers signed up. I got up at 5:30 to catch the 7:00 ferry back to the mainland. Well i never got on it as it was full bahhh. Thats gonna slow the trip home a bit.

Finally loaded up on the ferry ready to roll!

Enjoy the new ride. It's a local members and very nice from what I've seen... Never managed to see it in person though.

Made it to kamloops just having a supper break.

Truck made it to the top of the Coq highway 4k ft elevation. By the time i got to the top i was only doing 60kph in 3rd she had no more in her.

Had to give the old girl a 20 min breather at the bottom after haha.

Thank god for ear buds!!! The exhaust on this truck is awful lol. Straight piped with an exit right behind the passenger door.

So this wraps up day 1. Not too bad 800km traveled. Fuel consumption was 77L for 648km driven. Whatever that is in MPG

The crappy part is i drove through some of the best scenery and it was dark boo. All im gonna get today is prairie pics of the 42 haha.

Doesn't matter:BRING THE PICS!

That is a great Cruiser! I see why you pulled the trigger on that baby, looks to be very minimal rust and the right color too! Enjoy the trip.

Well i made her home safe and sound!!! The cruiser ran like a champ the whole way home zero issues beside the loud exhaust. The steering seems a bit sloppy for power steering. Even had her up to 105kph haha gotta love the flat prairies.

Just ouside Banff national park at sunrise.

Just outside the town of Banff

Highway 1A between Canmore and Exshaw AB

Finally back in the home province!!!

How loud it was in the cab!!!!

Finally home in the garage!!!

These were the 2 most epic pics of my 42 i think i got the whole trip!!!
