Cruiser Days 2006 - Vancouver, BC, Canada

We had our club meeting last night, and I offered to start this thead, thinking perhaps this would be a good venue to reach the BOD and regional reps, open discussion and extend an invite on behalf of the Coastal Cruisers for the TLCA to attend Cruiser Days-2006.

Background: This event was held for a good number of years by a Toyota dealership, who subsiquently dropped it a few years ago. The Coastal Cruisers, through Allstone Haung (Stone on this site) resurrected Cruiser Days in 2005. Plans are underfoot to make 2006 Cruiser Days better then ever. To that end we would like to extend an invitation to the TLCA to have a table or booth set up. This event has attracted many Cruiser owners, who are not part of the Coastal Cruisers, or the TLCA. This may be a great opportunity to increase international membership.

Hi Todd. I am not much a writer, nor wordsmith. I can see if anyone in the club would be interested, however the whole intent of this is to get someone from the TLCA to attend (maybe they can do a write-up as an official rep, and outside perspective of Cruiser Days...for TT).

Sounds great! It will be an opportunity for that person/s to see some of those funky Cruisers (JDM spec) we are getting into Canada, as well as the usual feast of Cruisers. The Coastal Cruisers are planning a camping trip for Sat night, and some wheeling on Sunday. These are not hosted portions, simply an invite for those interested to come along with the club. Or, if you have any other ideas, let us know. There is a thread in the Coastal Cruiser section on Cruiser Days 2006. I am sure a place to stay and rides will be available.
